ABOUT MIRAGE

I’m Mirage — a Cleveland-based photographer, creative director, and storyteller with a deep love for cinematic imagery and the atmosphere that lives between moments.

Creativity runs through my family line. My great-grandfather, Mihály Bede, helped design parts of the Budapest skyline. My grandfather, Roberto Maldonado, appeared alongside John Wayne in the 1960 film The Alamo. Crafting, building, and performing aren’t hobbies for me — they’re heritage.

I don’t create because I want to; I create because I was born into it.

Before photography, I built a career in beauty and performance. I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2014 and a freelance makeup artist in 2016. In 2017, I signed my first modeling contract, which led to years of being in front of the camera — learning angles, expression, mood, and storytelling from the subject’s point of view.

Today, I bring all of that experience behind the lens.

My work blends cinematic tones, emotional depth, and a strong sense of atmosphere. Whether I’m shooting live music, portraits, fashion, or creative concept pieces, my goal is always the same:

to capture the feeling — not just the moment.

Mirage Photography LLC is the continuation of a lifelong creative path. Every project, every collaboration, and every image is another step in the story I’m building.
